Flower Colour and Size:
Pale peach to deep ruby red. Flower form varies from open to very cupped. There may be 15 to 20 flowers on a 10 to 25 cm long inflorescence which emerges from the bases of small pseudobulbs. Natural spread is 0.5 to 1.5 cm.
Flowering Period:
March to June.
General Description:
A small epiphyte growing in citrus and other small fruit trees with deep green narrow rigid leaves which may be up to 20 cm. long. Botanical description see Schultes pg 220.
Habitat:
Citrus and cocoa estates and home gardens at lower altitudes throughout Trinidad..
