Brilliant yellow with brown barring on sepals and petals, natural spread approximately 1.5 cm.
Flowering Period:
Throughout the year
General Description:
A twig epiphyte whose leaves are arranged in the form of a fan with flower stalks emerging from the leaf axils. Flowers are borne with the lip uppermost. Botanical description see Schultes page 241.
Habitat:
Slender branches of coffee, cocoa and ornamental plants such as croton and mussaenda, usually in coffee and cocoa estates and contiguous residential gardens above 500 metres in the northern and central range of Trinidad.
